Hi,
Im trying to use a timeperiod I just made as a filter for avalability reports, but it does not work showing same data as if there where no timeperiod filter.
When using the "workhours" out of the box timeperiod as a filter it work fine only showing data 09:00 to 17:00.
Have attached the timeperiod config, when I assign it to a host or service it works.
All the services in the servicegroup I make the availability report on have a 24x7 timeoeriod assigned so data is there.
Regards,
Claus

Re: using timepriod filter in availability report
Do you see the correct data in the "Legacy" availability report when you use the same time period?
XI grabs the reports from Nagios Core. I suspect this could be a Nagios Core bug.

Legacy reports have the same issue
Re: using timepriod filter in availability report
What version of Nagios XI are you running?
Can you post a screen shot of the settings you used to run the report so we can try and duplicate the issue.
Thanks.

Re: using timepriod filter in availability report
Running version 5.2.9
Posted a screen shot of the timeperiod and the report setting.
Tried making the timeperiod in a different format : But that just removes all data from the availability report when I run it.
If I use the premade "US Holidays" timeperiod as a filter it removes all data aswell, seems making a availbility report with timeperiods that have Time Definitions as month/date, "january 12" dont work.

Re: using timepriod filter in availability report
I tried to replicate your issue but I couldn't get it to fail.
I did test the Availability report on XI version 5.4.1 and there could of been some bug fixes after your version so could you update your XI server to the latest version and see if that works for you?

Sounds good - I'll leave this open should you want to post your solution. We do like to avoid working on problems in two places at once, so please stick to handling the issue at the ticket level.

Re: using timepriod filter in availability report
We made a upgrade to 5.4.1 and now it works fine, can make a new timeperiod and use it as filter in my availability reports.

Great to hear it working! Are we good to mark this thread resolved?
