How to configure e-mail alerts and SMS alerts

HI all,

I am not able to create e-mail template group to create the e-mail alerts and also SMS gate way am not sure for indian mobile numbers.

Please help me on this.

You can create a contact group by going to: Core Config Manager->Alerting->Contact Groups->Add New
There you can add individual users (or other contact groups) as members.

Then you can add a contact group to a host and all of the members of this contact group will be receiving alerts: Core Config Manager->Monitoring->Hosts(or Services)->Modify->Alert Settings tab->Contact groups

Each users can change his/her Notification preferences by going to: Configure->More Options->My Account Settings->Notification Options and going through all of the submenus.
