Change Dashboard Info

Post by craigaddo »

Hi,

I am new to Nagios, so my apologies!
I have inherited a Nagios server that is already setup, but I want to change the info displayed on the dashboard / main screen (see attachment)
Can anyone advise me on how I do this? and what config files that I need to edit?

This would depend a lot on how the server was originally setup. The general directory we use though for config files is /usr/local/nagios/etc/.

From there, whomever set it up previously would have configured a way to manage their configuration files in that directory. You can find a directory for the Core documentation here - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... n/toc.html

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @rkennedy's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
