Logstash crashing repeatedly with MUTEX error

That host is using:

echo $LANG
en_US.UTF-8

So not sure what is happening there.

Can you provide some samples of the logs this machine is sending? It may be that the logs contain generic bytes that Logstash is trying to interpret as UTF-8 text. I'd like to replicate this if possible and play around with a few possible solutions and having the logs would expedite things a lot.

Feel free to PM/Email them if the information is super sensitive.
