I'm looking to log when users log into nagiosxi, so I can audit who is using the system.
I've read:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... 1481035241
but that doesnt appear to answer my question.
where could I log which users have logged into nagiosxi, as well as logging failed authentications (the referenced doc claims that failed auths appear in the access log, but it doesnt appear to be the case).
If you could possibly also provide an example of a log entry for successful auth and failed auth, I would appreciate it.
If there are config files you need to see from my server, please let me know, I will upload.
thanks,
-Luke

Re: logging nagiosxi authentications
The audit log is an Enterprise feature which you can find if you go to Admin --> Audit Log (under System Information).
If you are not an Enterprise customer, the Enterprise features are a separate 60-day trial, so if you didn't test those out the first time, you can enable them now and see if you think it is worth the added expense.
