How was this system originally installed? We have offline repositories that people have been using for the latest version of Nagios XI:
http://repo.nagios.com/

If it wasn't installed using the repository, you'll probably be better off creating a new machine using the instructions on the above site and migrate your configurations/plugins/etc over to the new machine. Be sure to do this with respective development->testing->production machines so as to not negatively affect your monitoring setup.

Was your original install from the OVA or from the offline repository? They will not work hand in hand.

From the looks of it though you're missing dependencies which you'll need to provide in an offline fashion.

Yes, my original install is ova file too.
Now, to upgrade my nagios xi, i should install latest version in new machine?
Is the database of latest version similor to Nagios XI 2014R1.2 database? and can I restore my backup on new machine correctly?

Unfortunately, the offline's only go back to 2014R2.6. This means you'll need to get your server Internet access long enough to upgrade to 2014R2.6. Since there will be fewer changes, the upgrade to 2014R2.6 should not take as long as an upgrade to 5.4.2.

Information on the backup and restore is available at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf. Pay particular attention to NOTE 1 on page 4.

Alternatively, you could use https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... p-Tool.pdf, but that's just going to get you the configs and not anything else.

I think following the instructions provided by @dwhitefield are your best option. Since this machine wasn't installed using our offline RPMs, it's going to run into troubles when you try to upgrade with no internet access.
