Gearman quesitons

Post by BanditBBS »

I think I'm ready to distribute my XI checks here finally. I used to use in the past, but have some questions since it's been a few years.
  • I recall when nagios core 4 was released there was a memory leak issue with gearman, that all resolved now?
  • Does OS matter on the gearman servers? Can I use Oracle Linux for them
I think that's my only questions before I move fwd

Yes

No.

Yes

Can we close this up? :)

Longer answer: The memory leak issue was fixed, and in regards to the OS it really does not matter as long as NRPE can compile and you have plugins that run on the system as well.
