Hello. The "schedule downtime" function of our Nagios XI is not working. When i try to schedule downtime, the scheduler window disappears with no indication of success; these screen shots show the process:
Then when i check Incident Management -> Scheduled Downtime, it shows nothing:
Alerts still go out during the downtime i scheduled. I have tried this process with different browsers to rule out issues with the browser or browser plugins.
From a few Google searches i learned that being unable to resolve "localhost" is a common source of scheduling issues. I confirmed that localhost is in /etc/hosts and checked that it actually resolves from the Nagios server. I also do not see anything in the Apache error_log when trying to schedule a check.
Some technical info:
The server runs Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (64 bit).
Nagios XI is at version 5.2.5 and was manually installed.
I'll attach the system profile.

Re: Schedule downtime doesn't work
Is it possible for you to upgrade? There was a bug that should have been fixed in 5.2.5, but it's possible it did not take.
5.4.3 should be out early next week at the latest if you wanted to wait.

I upgraded to 5.4.3 and scheduling downtime works now! Thank you!
