default service : interface traffic on localhost

Post by zaji_nms »

Dear Expert

when we install NagiosXI there is default services enabled on "localhost" such as load/process/memory/users.........the same manner it should add interface traffic by default. It will help much if server having high load and as an admin want to see if there is any attack? if any high in/out bound traffic from localhost?

ds0:eth0 inbytes ,, ds1:eth0 outbytes

ds0:eth0 inbps ,, ds1:eth0 outbps

You can do via feature request.

I have created internal feature request (FR) 11392 for this issue. Please reference this # if you wish to check on the status.

That said, are we ready to close this ticket or did you want to add more to the request?

I'd also like to point out https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... ig/details which appears to do what you've requested.
