combining the capacity planning(summary)

Post by s.wiki »

Hi,
Currently I am running nagiosxi enterprise edition, I have taken screenshot from nagiosxi online demo and uploaded here, and the summary tab is what I am looking for.
As my understanding , when i select a hostgroup of servers, lets say 10 linux, and each linux has 4 service checks, and then run the capacity planning reports.
I can get 40 graphs/summary/data individual in a single page.
Rather than 40 individual informations on different box, how do i get a summary of 40 servers in one paragraph, and then a list of the servers usage.

For example.
' bla bla cpu usage are ok for the 3 months, excep for server C hit the maximum at 99%, predicted to occur at 2017-xx-xx'
1.serverA, Average cpu for pass 3 month, cpu usage for pass 3 month, predicted usage for next 3months
2.serverB, Average cpu for pass 3 month, cpu usage for pass 3 month, predicted usage for next 3months

This is because I will not able to read all the summary one by one as this project will be monitoring ~2000 service checks.

May I know is there any way to do this? Do I need additional plugin or any modification need to be done to achieve this?
Or any advice that any script to do this?

Much appreciated.
Thanks

I have created internal feature request (FR) 11277 for this issue. Please reference this # if you wish to check on the status.

That said, are we ready to close this ticket or did you want to add more to the request?

At this time we do not have a public issue tracker for our commercial products, but you can request an update in this forum thread.

The request was just filed Tuesday so it has not been implemented yet.

Please note that feature requests are not guarantees of future functionality, as it is up to the developers to decide which they are going to add into the product, and when. It could be a while depending on the request itself as well as the other requests in the queue. A more popular request is likely to be added sooner, and bugs/security issues take precedence over features.

This has not been implemented at this time. Please note that our Nagios XI changelog can be found here:

https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... NGES-5.TXT

While it will not tell you if a feature has been decided or not for a future release, it will be updated with the referenced feature request ID if it has been added.
