Hi!
After "org.elasticsearch.client.transport.NoNodeAvailableException" the syslog didn't save the logs.
We have just one Nagios Syslog Server (not in a cluster).
All the service are UP.
When I restart the logstash service, the syslog begin to save logs again.
This happend to my several times (1 time per week arpox).
Append the logstash log complente line:
{
: timestamp = > "2017-04-06T03:54:23.373000-0300",
: message = > "Failed to flush outgoing items",
: outgoing_count = > 6,

Re: Stoped save logs after exeption
Can you share the contents of your Elasticsearch logs? This command should put them all in the /tmp/43268_1.tar file:
Code: Select all
tar -cvf /tmp/43268_1.tar /var/log/elasticsearch/Former Nagios employee

Uploaded!
In the log appears a localhost fail. This problem was fixed.

Re: Stoped save logs after exeption
check your hard drives it looks like you're running low space.
Re: Stoped save logs after exeption
Thanks for sharing your solution!
As @tacolover101 pointed out, you might want to free up some space on this machine's disk. I'm seeing a lot of this in the Elasticsearch logs:
Otherwise, you can refer to the "Increase The Low Watermark" section of this article:
