Hi All - I want to get a better understanding of how Service Management works, and how the command view/ arguments are read/ defined.
Can you kindly assist in explaining what the below means:
Command view:
$USER1$/check_http $ARG1$ $ARG2$ $ARG3$ $ARG4$ -t 10 -c 5 -w 3
Arguments
1) -H "website".com
2) -l "ip address" -u "/" -S
3) -f follow
4) 2
what does -h, -l, -u, -s, -f and 2 refer too? Where can I find these details??

Re: Service Management
these are unique on a per. plugin basis. most plugins usually have a 'help' menu to explain what they do.
if you want to look at them in a GUI take a look at this page - http://nagios-plugins.org/doc/man/index.html - or look at check_http specifically http://nagios-plugins.org/doc/man/check_http.html
