Javascript error and PHP error - Open maps in Nagvis

Post by redesgtt »

Hi,

We have problems with Javascript trying to open one map. I have tried to delete it and create it again, but it doesn't work.
Shows this issue when try from Firefox:

And with Chrome:

The other issue is with PHP, when we add "host Icon" and we try to open map it shows:
(the same for Firefox and Chrome)
Image
If I edit the map and I delete the "host Icon", then we can see correctly the map without issues.

Like I have done with the map with the Javascript error, in this I have tried to delete the map and create it again but it doesn't work.

These two issues occur on different maps randomly

####NAGVIS####
Version Information:
Nagvis Version: 1.5.9
PHP Version: 5.4.16
##############

Nagios XI 5.4.3

Please, any idea for resolve the issues?

Thanks.
Regards

Can you describe in details all of the steps you took to add a host to the map in NagVis?

Run the following command and show the output:

Code: Select all

locale
Do you see any special/weird characters in the check's output?

You haven't tried upgrading the NagVis version, then reverting back to 1.5.9, have you?

The steps I take to add icons in any map is the same for maps are running and for maps are not running. I think that is not the problem. There is not any special character. They are maps that worked, and suddenly they have stopped working, showing the errors I posted before.

The nagvis we installed it came with de source code in NagiosXI we downloaded. The version package about Nagios XI we downloaded was "xi-5.5.2.tar.gz". Within it was "nagiosxi-->subcomponents-->xicomponents-->components-->nagvis.zip". That was what we installed.

An strange thing is seeing in the IU Components we have the "1.1.3" version Nagvis, but doesn't show any Available for that version.:

I did "check for updates.."

What would I do?
Should I upgrade the version?
How should I do steps for upgrade Nagvis?

I see in:
https://www.nagvis.org/downloads
Is the Stable Nagvis 1.8.5.
should I download it and install across the "manage components"?
