Installing a "new" 2014 r1.5 install for testing

Post by eloyd »

We've got a customer that we need to go "back in time" for and install XI 2014 r1.5 to do some migration testing. We spun up a new CentOS 6.9 machine and tried to install 2014 r1.5 but it fails trying to install pymssql. It looks as though this is no longer available in any of the current repos, and I'm hesitant to install it out-of-band of the Nagios install.

Is there a recommendation for installing a "new" 2014 r1.5 install so we can do a bunch of upgrade testing?

Here you go: http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... 14r1.5.ova

They aren't all there, so you'll just need to ask again if you need another version.

If it works out, no need to respond. We're optimistic here. :)

OVA import worked fine. You can close. Wish us luck! Time to crush a 2014r1.5 -> 5.4.4 migration!

Before I close, I will say, we do currently test going from 2014 to the latest, but generally a later version of 2014. Hope it works out with the earlier version, of course!

Closing.
