Disabling all Notifications for a specific host

Is there a way to disable all notifications for a specific host? I want to take down a server for upgrade/maintenance. I don't want to go into every single services and disable notifications one by one on that host. Is there an easier way of doing it just by doing one disable? I can't seem to find it.

Indeed there is a way to do that: https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=544

If you want to turn off associated services, make sure you set that pull down appropriately (it's the last one).
