Howto create a contactgroup via the REST api

Hello
Looking at the documentation for the REST API it says

REST API - Objects Reference
This is a read-only backend for getting the host, services, and other objects.

So my question is
Is it possible to create a contactgroup via the REST API?

Not yet, but this is on our "things to add" list. It will be available in the future versions of Nagios XI.
