Hostname change keeping old data in graphs

Hello.

Recently we've faced the need to change a couple of hostnames in our environment and this caused lost of previous graphs.
We moved the old RRDs to the new paths with no luck.

Is there any way to store old data in new RRDs in order to grant graphical continuity?

There is a tool on the exchange site you could use to merge the data from the old rrd files in to the new rrd files.
