Report on a service

Post by JohnFLi »

I have a service that is common to most of my servers. I would like to have a report that shows the current status of all the servers that have this particular service. All the reports I see in XI seem to be about Hosts or Hostgroups, and not about the service.

The closest thing I see to waht I am looking for, is from the 'Home' SCreen/details (on left side)/Service detail, then you enter in the service name and search. This gives you everything with that service name. Perfect! but I want to be able to export that into a PDF, word or even csv file.

How would I go about doing that? (other than highlighting the entire page, right clicking and selecting Print)

You can schedule a page (as a report). Just click on the "Schedule page" button in the upper right corner. Once you schedule the page, you could view the report, or email it if you wish.

This functionality is included in the Nagios XI Enterprise Edition.
