Upgrade Issues 2011R2.0 -> 2.1 -> 2.2

Hi Team,

We are experiencing an issue when running the upgrade script bundled in the source installer where that components/plugins are not carried over in an upgrade thus having to re-install them.

Is this normal behaviour for NagiosXI as I see no mention of this in the upgrade documentation.

No, I've never actually heard of that happening, and it didn't appear to happen in any of our tests for 2.x. Which components in particular seem to be disappearing in the upgrade?

Well we have a number of the components installed;

ldapauth
massacknowledge
hypermap_replay
graphexplorer

The paths are still intact under /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components but visual options/configuration within NagiosXI has all gone.

I've attempted to reproduce this on a server here adding the 4 components you listed and then upgrading and all goes as expected.

The interesting thing us that you said that they are still there in the /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components directory because that is really all the component uploader does for most components.

Did you get any related errors in /var/log/httpd/error_log ?
