Plain text email notifications

Hello there

Nagios XI Version: 5.4.4
RHEL 7.2

Can anyone tell me what do I need do to send plain text emails by using "xi_service_notification_handler"
Currently the emails are coming out with <br> </br> html tags

You may find this article useful. It describes where to change the email templates that Nagios XI uses for notifications:

Though I'm not sure what ServiceNow would recognize as a carriage return if it's not correctly translating <br> tags. You might try \n since that's what this article seems to recommend:

Thanks mcapra this wasn't much help.
Upto to how you want to handle it, basically I am looking for a quick answer as we are under the pump to deliver hence I have logged the call plus trying to use the forum
