Hello Support Team,
We do have 10 + instances of Nagios Xi configured as individual server and hence we feel difficult to report and to create a single Nagvis dashboards.
So we would like to have centralized database ( just a copy which is useful for reporting/nagvis and not offloading) and nagvis to create dashboards ( fi req we can install opensource nagios). Please let us know the steps to perform.
To have centralized database
Re: To have centralized database
Nagios Fusion was built as a single point-of-visibility for several large Nagios XI/Core setups:
https://www.nagios.com/products/nagios-fusion/
It also just had a major release with version 4. Take a look at some of the documentation/demos and see if that satisfies your use case.
There's no documentation that I am aware of that would allow for a central DB setup from which reporting data could be pulled from.

Re: To have centralized database
Everything @mcapra said is correct, but I am curious about one thing you said:
Probably, this is just a typo, but server here is singular. Are these all on 10 separate servers or are this on one host? In separate VMs on the same physical box would not be a problem (except perhaps for load), but I just wanted to be sure these weren't all trying to use the same apache.anish wrote: We do have 10 + instances of Nagios Xi configured as individual server
