Change "Send Mail From" and "Program URL"

Is it possible to change the value of "Send Mail From" and "Program URL" programmatically, or can it only be done via the UI?

At this time, the UI is the only supported way to do this. The API is getting a major overhaul for XI 5.5. Unfortunately, I can't say when XI 5.5 will be out, although it will probably be in 2017.
