Port requirement

Post by anmol.k »

Hi ,

I have installed nagios xi (60 days trial) and now i was thinking to integrate it with log server and network analyzer . Can you please tell me the ports required on both the new servers to communicate with nagios xi server.

Thanks
Anmol

Nagios XI doesn't send data to Log Server or Network Analyzer. They use NRDP to send events to Nagios XI. This is over HTTP or HTTPS depending on your network, so it's port 80 or port 443.

Edit: XI does have the ability to take you to the NNA interface, but it's doing it by essentially clicking a URL to take you there, so again, it's HTTP/S.
