Client's side checks' store and forward

Good morning, everyone!

I'd like to know if any of you are aware of a tool that's able to buffer passive check results which, for some reason or another, cannot reach the server at the time (i.e., network outage between delivery of client LAN hosts' monitoring output off to a cloud Nagios XI server). We've tried to do this through NRDP and even Mod Gearman, but with no success, due to a bugged or unfinished setup on both modules.

Is there any alternative for us to be able to retain some important data during communication failure like this? Some form of caching on client's side would be ideal, of course.

Just chiming in to say this exists as a feature request for NCPA:
https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/ncpa/issues/319

I don't know of any agent that currently has that functionality, but it looks like a future release of NCPA will include it.
