Logs of outgoing SNMP Traps

Post by karthek »

Hi,

We have XI configured to send, snmp traps to 3rd party event management tool.

I can see the traps by tailing /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/eventman.log, as they are processed by XI, but couldn't see them getting saved anywhere.

Are they logged somewhere on XI or just the temp log (eventman.log) ?

They are only in the temp eventman.log

It would be helpful to see what traps/events were sent to the remote SNMP processor.

Do you plan to log these SNMP traps in the future release of XI?

I have created a feature request for this to be added in a future version, however cannot state a timeline for it to be completed.
