Exclude hosts/services from noc or dashlets

I am looking for assistance with excluding specific hostgroups and service groups from within the Operations center view / as well as individual dashlets.

Nagio's direct support is unhelpful, and I have restricted access to most of the forums with any topic that relates to the above. In the operations center, there is a limit to filter, however, nothing to exclude specific services, or groups.

Assistance would be great as we are looking to incorporate this in production to monitor 12k + servers, however these minor (necessary) functions are stopping us right now.
