Hi,

I have an environment with approximately 3500 nodes and aim to have about 15 - 20 checks performed per device. Are there any suggestions i.t.o. design for an XI monitoring system? Can this be run off a single XI instance?

The number of hosts/services that can be monitored by a single instance of NagiosXI depends on a multitude of factors:

• Virtual or physical hardware
  Number and speed of CPU cores
  Amount of RAM
  Drive type (HDD or SSD)
  Drive space
  Which checks are being performed
  Frequency of checks
  *Other factors
