Hi,
I'm running Nagios Fusion on the vmware ova, the pre-configured virtual machine. The current one is running CentOS release 6.9.
How is everyone updating their OS for security patches? Or Are people mostly running FUSION on their inhouse LINUX, so they can keep them updated along with their other systems.? I can run the UPDATE in Admin in the webui, but that is just for Nagios updates not system updates. So, for security patches to the OS does nagios come out with new VM ovas periodically that have system/security patches we can download or is it recommended to updates these VMs directly?

Yes. (although, be aware of the VM disk space)dxk9 wrote:is it recommended to updates these VMs directly?
I am not sure really needed any more info. We'll leave it open for others to suggest the specifics...or if you'd like additional info, just reply to the thread with specific questions.
