Monitoring an Ubuntu Server

Im trying to use Nagios to monitor an Ubuntu Server

When i follow the instructions to setup the initial monitor through XI i am able to download the nrpe agent and install instrcutions PDF but for some reason they both relate to monitoring a CentOS installation

Does anyone know where i can get the realvant doc and file for monitoring an Ubuntu server?

Ok so, success, i'm now monitoring one of my ubuntu servers. However ive tried to set this up on a second and when i run -

add-apt-repository ppa:nagiosinc/pp

i get

can't find signing_key_fingerprint at https://launchpad.net/api/1.0/~nagiosinc/+archive/pp

Any ideas?
