Nagios Core & Nagios XI Compatability Distributed

hi,

I operate a distributed monitoring system using NSCA with nagios core.

One of the locations I monitor have a configured XI instance.

Is it possible to 'drop' my configuration files in to this environment, in the same manner I would with a Nagios Core Instance?

It's a little bit different with XI, but also fairly straight forward. Take a look at these documents.

Nagios XI can detect new passive checks coming in and let you select which ones to add configs for from the Admin->Unconfigured Objects page. You can also set it up manually with the passive check wizard, or just import all of your passive configs with the procedure below.
