Help with Using MIB's

Hello,

I am new to Nagios using MIBs and would like some direction how to proceed with adding a UPS to monitor. I have a Liebert GXT4 UPS I am trying to add to Nagios to monitor.

Liebert MIBs have been downloaded and imported Nagios. I have tried to add a UPS using the SNMP wizard, but get no additional options to monitor.

What steps do I need to do in order for the Mib information to be injected so it can specify the metrics to monitor. Any help or documentation would be great to help steer me in the right direction.

Did you setup the UPS to send traps to the Nagios XI server? If not you will need to do so.

Did you setup your XI server to accept Traps? If not follow this guide

Hi,

I have SNMP traps set to be sent to my Nagios server, and it is set to use the MIB files

Once this is set, am I supposed to use the configuration Wizard and use SNMP Trap, or SNMP option?
