Dear all,
In my company, domain users had Admin Local Administrator permission with their workstations. Thereforce, they can install all software what they needed.
And I would like to find out how to monitor all installed applications softwares on user workstations. I am using NagiosXi
Could you please advice me?
Many thanks for your supports,
Trung Le Viet

Re: Monitoring all installed applicationsoftwares on worksta
You would need to know what software you want to monitor. If the user adds some random software package, how would you know in advance what you would monitor in the given package??

If you run the "Windows Server" wizard in XI you can put the .exe name for each of these in under "Windows Process"

Yeah, great
Many thanks for your response, Scottwilkerson.
I managed some applications: Yahoo; Skype are installed on user workstations by adding applicationname.exe in under "Windows Process" in Windows Server Wizard.
Really appreciate about your supports, Scottwilkerson.
Wish Best Regards,
