Re: How To Configure Nagios Checker for Audio alarm on Nagio
the Nagios folks here didn't write the program so this is a complete guess in the dark.
it looks like the application may be looking for you to use 'nagios' and not 'nagiosxi' - that could be one thing.
depending on how it's calling the sound notifications (such as through Core), it would be something to take into concern as well. what does the documentation say to follow? was this written with Nagios XI in mind, or just Nagios core?

This is correct, this application is looking for the web url to Core. It will work in XI, but the above is correct.tacolover101 wrote:the Nagios folks here didn't write the program so this is a complete guess in the dark.

I'm confused, the link above looks like a completely different interface that you showed a screenshot for.tsabit wrote:Hi scottwilkerson,

Pardon my ignorance because I'm not familiar with this addon as we did not create it. Can you share which item isn't working, where you downloaded it as well as how you have it configured and we can have atech test it.
One think of note, for obvious reasons for the Firefox extension I'm sure you need Firefox open, as well as your sound on computer.
