SQL error when ack alerts

We started to receive this error possibly after the update to 5.4.8

SQL Error [nagiosxi] : ERROR: syntax error at or near "Critical"

If the Nagios server is running a newer version of Postgress, an option has to be changed in the Postgress configuration file to fix that error.
