firstly , thank you for your reply.
But , the problem is receiving notification from a spicefic group of hosts ,we want to disactivate these notifications for a period of time .the period out of working , the hosts are turrned off , so i don't need receiving alerts .

Re: disabling notification in Nagios XI
You could set your host notifications to a specific time period in XI.
Go to --> Configure --> Core Config Manager --> under Alerting tab --> click Time Periods
This allows you to create your own time periods however you like, or you can see one of our pre-defined time periods.
After this, in the same tab of --> Configure --> Core Config Manager --> Hosts (click the hosts you don't want to receive notifications from) once you click a host --> go to Alert Settings --> Under Notification period --> Select your Time Period of when to receive alerts for your hosts.
Example --> setting the notifications period to the "work hours" time period will give you notifications only from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Let me know if this helps

I believe what you want is to setup "Recurring Downtime" fromyan wrote:firstly , thank you for your reply.

Home -> Incident Management -> Recurring Downtime
Then you can set this up by host group or service group

It seems you have posted the same question twice. It's best to create a separate topic for a separate question.
That way we are not answering the same question twice. Thank you!
Your other question will still be here -- > https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 784#233723
If we have solved your original question, then I will be closing this topic.
