Text Notifications

Not sure if this has been asked before or not...

But I would like to know if there is a way to push a text alert for only one service..

IE... I want to know immediately, via text message, when a monitored UPS is operating on Battery power. But I do not want to be texted for any other alerts?

The easiest way to achieve this would be to create a user in XI for specifically this reason and make this user a contact of just the service you are interested in.

I will give it a try, but thinking about it, I can't imagine it wouldn't work.
