NagiosXI import config file: misc command

Post by chanjch »

Hi all,

I'm able to use Nagios XI import config file features to import new commands and contacts.
But when the commands is imported, its automatically been defined as "Check command".

May I know any approach available that I can directly import a "Misc command"?
Currently we have to go to the commands UI search for the command and change it.
We hope that we can skip this manual step.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you!

Unfortunately at present there is not a distinction because Nagios Core doesn't make a distinction between them.

I will make a note to the developers that this would be useful, but not sure how it will be attacked.

Thanks for the reply.
Hope the development team can take in consideration to enhance this :-)
