Delete persistent comments

In our environment we recently changed the configuration of acknowlegdments. We are changing to Sticky notifications and no longer do we want the acknowledgements and comments to persist. Question, is there a way I can programmatically delete the persistent acknowledge/comments?

Hi @brdr,

The “Sticky Acknowledgement”, when it is checked, will prevent further notifications if the problem continues.

"Persistent Comment” in Nagios will retain the comment even after a reboot and must be manually unchecked whenit is fixed.

If you leave it unchecked Nagios will remove the comment when a solution is found
