Re: Submit passive check result not working
What makes you think that it is not working? Can you post a screen shot showing the failure you are experiencing?

Thanks @eloyd!
He is right, we need more information on what's not working? Any example screenshots?
Or steps on what you did and what result you expect to see?
This will help us greatly!

Hi
For example, I submit ok tagged for Gateway3 service of any host. But after a few second, it returned to previous state.

So the passive check submission worked, but your service is returning to a problem state because there is a problem. You have 100% packet loss.

Re: Submit passive check result not working
In the fact, this service is redundant with two other services. When those two services are ok, this service is critical.
As far as I realized, the "passive check tag" is use for this work. That means when "any service or host is critical, we can labled "ok" on it!"
We did this same work (labled ok tag) on Nagios Core and there is no problem.

Re: Submit passive check result not working
Submitting a passive check just "resets" the current status to whatever you specify. In your case, it is still defined within Nagios as an active check, so Nagios will still check on its own. When it does, it is seeing 100% packet loss and going critical again .
I'm not sure what else to tell you except that your long is failing with complete packet loss.
