Send service notofication By SMS

HI
I have a problem
when I configure special services to send notification by SMS there is no sms received and any host notifications like up and down received with no problem but services not received
kindly advice

I notes any notifications was received the status is (1) like this

It looks as though your SMS notifications are not set up to actually send the proper email to the correct SMS providers. Please look at Nagios XI Admin section called "Manage Mobile Carriers." Make sure that your carriers have the correct email settings specified. Then make sure the users in question have SMS notifications turned on in their accounts, and their contacts with Core Config Manager are set to use the xi_host_notification_handler.

Otherwise, you'll have to program the alerts as escalations and use modified notification commands to send things to people's secondary email addresses.

But why any host down or up send sms notifications??

Well, you won't like my answer, but the short version is that computers do what you tell them, not what you want. You have not yet configured Nagios to properly send SMS messages. As for what you might need to do to get it working, please see my previous response.

any host notification send SMS and email without problem but any services no notification send by sms but by email send without problem
