Service Check Timed Out Alert returning as Critical Alert

We have upgraded NCP Agent to 2.0.5 on most of the servers and appears NCP Agent starting issue after server reboot is fixed.

I also suppose that all services for a given host timeout, or is there just a particular one?

It is all the services that timeout

@Sampath.Basireddy, I see. Well, if upgrading NCPA on that particular server is not an option you could try adding the following line inside /usr/local/nagios/nagios.cfg

service_check_timeout_state=u

After that please run

service nagios restart

Thank You @npolovenko, but am looking at a global level.

This issue is not necessarily with one particular server, but at a whole environment level.

Last week I have seen the service check timed out issue on multiple servers which are already having NCPA v2.0.5. It could be for various reasons like network performance or server performance etc.

@Sampath.Basireddy, The option that I described in my last post is supposed to apply to all hosts globally, as long as you add it to the nagios.cfg on your Nagios XI server.
