I have imported the cert I need into the web interface ( though I can see
that it has already been pre-installed in /etc/openldap/cacerts ). What is XI
trying to write there? Why isn't it using the pre-installed cert? And, what
perms or sudoers do I need to get sLDAP working?
Thx.

Re: Nagios XI trying to write to certs dir
Hello, @markmerchant .
What manual did you use to get your LDAP server to work with XI? I suggest going over our manual below to make sure you got all the steps right:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... gIGjfD_BwE
Also, does your password contain any special characters? If it does I I'd probably change it for testing purposes.
I'd also recommend running the commands from this troubleshooting guide: https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=524
So let us know if you're able to resolve the issue using the above articles, and if that doesn't help I will attempt to replicate this problem myself.
