Decomm a log servers

Decomm a log servers

what are the steps to take a server out the cluster cleanly.

one of LOGs servers crashed and we want to remove it. We didnt need that server anyways

Hello, @bosecorp.
Before you do anything I'd recommend to create a configuration snapshot.
Then power down the crashed server. After a few minutes use another log server in the cluster to navigate to Admin/Instance Status menu. You should now see the remove button next to the crashed server instance.
Let us know if you have other questions.

done all of that.

is there anything else I need to do? like modify scripts or config files from the command line
