How to send notification to external e-mail

How to send service notification to external e-mail address ?

I try to create a contact with external e-mail address, i choose this contact in my service configuration in alerting tab, but the notification don't send, why ? good question...

I try to create a nagios user with the external e-mail address, but it's not possible to choose this user in my service configuration...why ?

in my contact properties, I don't add generic-contact for "Additional templates" option...
