Had major database issue

Post by benningtonr »

We had a major issue with our VM database storage. we have finally restore everything and I am getting this error in nagios.

SQL Error [ndoutils] : Table 'nagios_servicestatus' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I ran the script that tell me which database I have,

"dbtype" => 'pgsql',

then it continues on about after 2014 run one script and before 2014 run another..

I have had this since 2012, but we have ran the upgrades, so I am unsure which script to run.

A little help would be nice moderators :)

I see in the other ticket that you opened that this issue seems to have been resolved - is this still the case?

In order for us to better assist you in the future, please keep some things in mind:
  • Opening both a forum thread and a support portal ticket will not speed up resolution, and actually adds overhead as we need to track the duplicate and coordinate replies internally. Please open one or the other in the future.
  • Our SLA guarantees a 24-hour business day response time. While we try to beat this by a pretty wide margin, we are not always able to respond immediately to issues as they arise.
  • If you need immediate assistance, I would suggest purchasing phone support which allows you to call our support line during business hours and get a tech on the line right away. This is the fastest way to get help.
