Nagios XI integration with xMatters (version 3.0)

Hi ,

We use Nagios XI 5.2.2 , we are in the progress to integrate nagios with xmatters.
we downloaded xmatters component and added to Nagios xi (admin --> Manage Components -->Browse--> upload and install )
Nagios says "Component installed." but we are not able to see any component to configure further.

Did you follow the official xMatters documentation to setup and configure your REST API endpoint?

It looks as though some flat-file changes need to be made prior to installing the component into Nagios XI.

as this is strictly not a Nagios XI issue. They might be able to help you the xMatters integration.

We followed the same steps provided in the xmatters official integration documentation.

"Installing the xMatters component in Nagios" section mentions that once we uploaded the component at Admin > Manage Components --> The xMatters Event Handlers component will appear .

its not appearing now to configure the event handler. please assist

I am not familiar with xMatters, but I tried uploading the xMatters component to XI, and didn't have any issues.

I downloaded the tarball from here:

extracted it to my local machine, then went to:

Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components > Browse > xmatters.zip > Upload & Install

Note: The "xmatters.zip" was located in "xM-Nagios_3_0\components\NagiosXI\" directory (from xM-Nagios_3_0.tar.gz)

The install was successful, and the "(x)matters Event Handlers" component v. 1.0.3 showed up on the top of the list on the "Manage Components" page.
