Nagios network analyzer wizard

Post by naga.aripaka »

wizard doesnt work properly ever since NNA is updated to 2.3.0. 0 bytes sent/received or 0 packets. Reports of NNA on XI show valid data but the problem is with wizard.

There was a problem with the plugin. Download the latest version of the wizard from the link below:
networkanalyzer.zip
and install it as you would any other wizard.

Admin > Manage Config Wizards > Browse > networkanalyzer.zip > Upload & Install

Updating the wizard will update the "check_nna.py" plugin too. This should resolve your issue.

Note: If you don't want to install the wizard manually, you could wait for an hour or two, then check for the new version by clicking on the "Check for Updates" under the "Manage Configuration Wizards" page. Install the new version of the wizard by clicking on "Install Updates".

Let us know if this helped. Thank you!

I apologize I forgot about this. It works fine now. I have one more question now. The data is shown in bytes or something. Is there a way to change it to MB or something more friendly ?

Hi @naga.aripaka,

Yes, the data is only shown in bytes. However, I can put in a feature request for you if you would like.

Please let me know if have any questions.

Currently this is not possible because the check_nna.py plugin doesn't support it (there is no option for selecting a UOM).

Do you want us to file a feature request for adding this functionality?

@naga.aripaka, Yes, this most likely can be added on. You could try to download the dashlet and modify the source code yourself. The second option would be a custom development, you can email [email protected] for a quote. And the third option is to make a feature request. We don't give a timeframe, but usually, we give priority to the latest feature requests and then move on to newer ones.
