Where does Nagios XI store info about Unconfigured objects

Post by harshalx »

Hello,
I am in need of automating the feature where unconfigured objects (UO's) are converted to normally configured objects. I am planning to write a REST request to do so.

Since different UO's could have different services, I need to know where does XI store the info for UOs and their services? Unless I get access to this info I will not be able to construct proper host and service based mappings for my REST request.

I saw that you posted twice about unconfigured objects?

Are we okay to continue only in this thread since the other one was someone else?

The feature request for task_id=2231, is set for XI 5.5 which is going to be released this Q4, but we'll know for sure when it's released.

Which is basically what you are trying to do.

Task_id=2231 has the title of --> Add ability to auto-monitor unconfigured objects (passive checks) that arrive.
