Nagios® Core™ Version 4.3.2 - Unable to get process s

I got this error in a 4.3.2 installation in a customer's pc.

"Unable to get process status"

I'd like your help to diagnose and fix WITHOUT update to latest version.
it's a ubuntu machine

What version of Ubuntu?

Is selinux installed?

sudo dpkg -l selinux*

If not, that's good.

Are you able to restart Nagios? What's the status?
