Go to Configure --> Core Configure Manager --> Tools -> Write Config Files
Click each of the top TWO items
This will write the new files to the /usr/local/nagios/etc/services/ directory
Then look at the /usr/local/nagios/etc/services/Aethena.cfg file to see anything funny.
It may be required you do the following
Configure --> Core Configure Manager --> Services
select Aethena.cfg from the dropdown
find the IIS WEb Server -> modify
click notepad by hosts
Click Save (this will re-save it with just Athena)
Save Again
Then apply configuration.
What check is behind "IIS Web Server"

Alright, did as outlined above, both steps(write config files and click notepad by hosts, select Aethena), and same issue. No change.
Re: What check is behind "IIS Web Server"
Does it matter if in the config for "Aethena"/"IIS Web Server", the host groups is set to windows-servers - the group that the other servers are set to with this same service (IIS...)?

Re: What check is behind "IIS Web Server"
It sure could, if you added the hostgroup to the service.... If this is the case you will need to delete the IIS Web Server service for Athena and it will still pick it up from the windows-servers hostgroup.AWS wrote:Does it matter if in the config for "Aethena"/"IIS Web Server", the host groups is set to windows-servers - the group that the other servers are set to with this same service (IIS...)?
If not can you go to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Configuration Snapshots
and send via PM to me the snapshot tarball as well as the "View Output" for latest item with "Config Error"

Ohh Geesh! Good call.
Thanks for that catch! Feels good to have that resolved.
Thank you, again.
